    BOBI WINE IS SO SELFISH

When you monitor Bobi Wine on Social Media-Not his page, you’ll realise that he barely talks of developmental issues . The only time he says something, is when he jumps on a Bandwagon of something that has happened, by writing  something and not Using Parliament-because he wants to be seen as a champion of a cause.

However, most of the time it’s about his family members, to the extent were his family are over posted on social media more than what he intends to do for Ugandans and Uganda. It’s his brother chairman Nyanzi that runs most of the “People Power” activities like a family project. The moment Ugandans over ask what he stands for, then they start bombarding social media with selfies of his wife or children, to buy sympathy.

The moment you ask him or his people what their program is about? You get coordinated abuses from his supporters. Its sad that Ugandans can’t ask a would be president what he will do for the country, but are bombarded with insults and endless family selfies.

Bobi Wine with his brother Eddie Yawe, that is also being fronted as an MP to replace an Opposition MP  of FDC

Bobi wine is so selfish that he couldn’t join already existing and know parties. He rather went and bought a dormant party whose existence has never been known. This is because bobi wine doesn’t want to work with others, he wants to be in a party where he must be its president and he must be the only decision maker. In other words he must be the alpha and the omega. This is the reason Bobi wine never joined JEEMA although he was working very closely with them. He gave them a condition that for him to join them he must be the president general which they couldn’t allow and even their constitution could not allow it. Bobi wine knows that he will not be president and he has to get away of continuing to earn even after 2021.

He knows that his music can no longer make for him money and he will not be Mp again. So the only way he will continue to earn is by his party bringing 2 or 3 MPs in the next Parliament and he gets the money that EC gives political parties with MPs in Parliament. Don’t think he bought the party for the struggle.
If Bobi wine was serious about the struggle and unity, he would have joined already existing parties like JEEMA which was so close to him and become a member. But his aim is to push for his selfish interests and was the panic and rush to own a political party.

He would have continued with his pp movement and later register it as a political party after all there is no law that stops one from contesting for presidency as an independent or under a pressure group. Amama Mbabazi contested with his Go forward in 2016. But greed and selfishness could not allow him. He had to go and buy a dormant political party and own it.

People power Leadership is dominated by Bobi Wine’s Tribe

When the so called People Power talks about Nepotism, racism, tribalism in NRM regime and start harassing Banyankole, Bobi Wine’s struggle becomes wild. And indeed it’s wild.

Just like how Bobi Wine loves associating himself with portraits of dead Black leaders, he actually practices the opposite. Infact, the term “People Power” has been hijacked and abused-it should be Buganda Power or Bobi Wine Power.

How many tribes are in People Power ?

How many from Western,Eastern,Northern Uganda have picked People power nomination forms ?

The struggle of people power with likes of Hon zaake and bobi wine is against all Banyankole and other tribes not to be in Buganda region.

    People power is headed by,
    1) Bobi wine -Muganda.
    2) zaake Francis- muganda.
    3) Sebagala latif – Muganda.
    4) Kawalya Abubaker -muganda.
    5) Ssegirinya – muganda.
    6) Ssenyonyi – Muganda.
    7) Eddie mutwe – muganda.
    8) Bwanika – muganda.
    9) Mubiru James -Muganda.
    10) mukasa mbidde- muganda.
    11) Stella Nyanzi – muganda.
    12) Shamimu malende -muganda.
    13) Kazibwe Bashir – muganda
    15) chairman nyanzi- muganda
    16) Mzee Seya – Muganda..
    17) Nsubuga muhamad – muganda.
    18) Balimwezo – Muganda.
    19) Kindadala- Muganda.
    20) etc….

Its Buganda Language spoken and used in Bobi Wine Power. What’s difference between NRM and “People Power”?
THE DIFFERENCE IS SIMILARITY NRM/ PEOPLE POWER.

National Unity Platform (NUP) has been Dead

Former Makerere University Researcher Dr Stella Nyanzi has revealed that she belongs to the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and pressure group People Power and not the newly launched National Unity Platform (NUP).

The NUP was launched by People Power leader and presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) this week on Tuesday.

However, Nyanzi, a card holding member of the FDC had submitted her nomination forms both to the FDC and People Power to stand as Kampala woman Member of Parliament in the February 2021 general elections.

Nyanzi, like other politicians that belong to registered political parties have many times reiterated that they belong to People Power because it is a pressure group and not a registered political party.

Bobi Wine launching a new political party (NUP) left many confused as to whether they will subscribe to it and leave their parties under which they are registered or maintain the status quo in their parties.

However, the outspoken Government critique Nyanzi while appearing on NTV on Saturday morning put it straight that she does not support NUP but rather FDC and People Power.

“People Power is different from NUP. I don’t want the two to confuse Ugandans. If People Power and NUP are the same, what will happen to us who are in People Power and not going to join NUP? I need that answer because I never submitted my forms to NUP. I submitted my forms to People Power. I am not going to join NUP but I belong to People Power,” she said.

Nyanzi said she cannot join a party that has been inactive for years.

“Political parties is not something to play around with. They (NUP) need to let us know their Constitution. What laws govern this new party. Has the Constitution been amended or will it still be governed by the laws of the old party? Why should I join the party that has been inactive for years? I belong to People Power,” she reiterated.

Joel Ssenyonyi, the People Power/ NUP spokesperson in response said the election management committee will get in touch with all the candidates that submitted their forms to People Power but belong to other political parties.

“We cannot say that all the candidates that submitted their forms to People Power automatically subscribe to NUP. We can’t recruit people into a party without their consent,” said Ssenyonyi.

Beginning next week, Ssenyonyi said they will convene and discuss how candidates such Nyanzi who belong to People but unwilling to join NUP will be sorted.

The NUP whose previous name was National Unity, Reconciliation and Development party was led by Moses Nkonge Kibalama from December 2004 until July 2020.

On 14th July 2020, Bobi Wine assume leadership of the party and was declared the party flag bearer in the upcoming February 2021 presidential elections.

Yoweri Museveni and BOBI Wine are Exploiting COVID-19

Both Yoweri Museveni and BOBI Wine are  Exploiting COVID-19 for personal gain.

From day one it was very clear that Yoweri Museveni welcomed the coming of COVID-19 as a blessing in disguise, and as a vehicle which he was going to use, to suffocate further the freedoms of the people of Uganda, and have an easy way of rigging the 2021 elections. Evidence is everywhere indicating how it will be next to impossible to challenge the dictator , with all the restrictions that he has put in place , and refusing to postpone the election to a post-covid date or when a vaccine or cure has been put in place.Covid has also provided Museveni the opportunity to plunder the country’s cash reserves, and wantonly borrow money from across the globe, money that is borrowed in our name, but is meant for his campaigns and other personal errands.

On the part of Covid and Bobi Wine, it is very disappointing, that a man who quickly jumped on the Covid issue and composed a song warning the people of its danger, a song that became viral across the world, with interviews on major global TV networks, is the same person telling his supporters not to wear face masks, as a cheap political tool against

MUSEVENI TO FORCE HIM ACCEPT THE PUBLIC RALLIES AND CLAIMING THE COVID HE SANG ABOUT , WAS
NON-EXISTENT IN UGANDA.I KNOW MANY OF HIS SUPPORTERS TAKE HIS WORD AS BIBLICAL TRUTH, AND THEY ARE NO LONGER USING THE MASKS.COVID IS REAL AND KILLING PEOPLE, AND IN CASE OF A BIG OUTBREAK IN UGANDA WHERE MUSEVENI HAS MISMANAGED HEALTH SECTOR, IT CAN BE A DISASTER, SO M7 AND BOBI SHOULD STOP USING COVID.19, FOR PERSONAL AGENDA PUTTING UGANDANS AT RISK.

THE MAN WHO SOLD POLITICAL PARTY TO BOBI WINE

THE MAN WHO SOLD POLITICAL PARTY TO BOBI WINE IS ON STATE HOUSE PAYROLL

Nansana Municipality Member of Parliament also President Museveni’s strong supporter Robert Kasule Sebunya has claimed that Moses Nkonge Kibalama, the man who transferred his National Unity Development & Reconciliation Party (now National Unity Platform -NUP) to Bobi Wine has been on State House payroll since 2004.

Bobi Wine- real name Robert Kyagulanyi on Wednesday took over the leadership of National Unity Platform political party as president., a party previously headed by Kibalama.

“The National Unity Reconciliation and Development Party was formed in December 2004 and we certified government requirements. We are up to date, there is nothing lacking in terms of accountability; we come here with clean hands,” Kibalama said.

Kibalama also noted that the partnership between his party and People Power has been in the making since Bobi Wine won the parliamentary elections in Kyadondo East in 2017.
According to Bobi Wine, when they started the People Power Movement about three years ago, they had lengthy discussions about whether or not to register it as a political party. Their analysis led them to the conclusion that it was both untimely and impractical to form a political party. In any case, they were alive to the fact that the regime would foil any attempt to register the movement as a political party thus opting for a merger between NUP and People Power.

However, Kasule has punched holes in Kyadondo East legislator’s decision to metamorphose his pressure movement into a political party. He says the ruling party-NRM is not threatened by Bobi Wine and the group because even his new party is already infiltrated by the regime diehards citing an example of Kibalama whom he says works for President Museveni.

“Kibalama is our cadre and part of the ruling NRM party structures. He is always in State House because his is one of the many small parties that have always been allying with NRM.The way the whole thing was stage-managed in Kamwokya this week as NUP was being unveiled is consistent with the deal-making Kibalama I have always known as one of my key mobilizers in Buwambo.Bobi Wine

How do you say Bobi Wine was elected new party president at a delegate’s conference? Where was that delegates’ conference and how come no media house reported about it anywhere?” Kasule said on Saturday during CBS radio’s Parliament Yaffe program.

“NRM has always sponsored him [Kibalama] to do political mobilization in the Buwambo community where he has been causing many opposition defections into the ruling party. He is our cadre, something he can’t even deny because it’s a public secret in the Buwambo community where he has lived for all these years.”

    Bobi Wine hijacks party idea

When he was planning to buy or form a new political party, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu went off the People Power Movement grid. He only came back just two days to the launch of the National Unity Platform to tip off a few of his closest backers in parliament.

After springing the initial surprise of announcing the National Unity Platform last week, Bobi Wine’s critics and allies have begun mulling over how the People Power leader managed to pull off such a secret political masterstroke.

Where was the media? How could Bobi Wine identify a political party, look for its owners, negotiate a monetary deal, exchange money, process the name change,  publish it in the newspaper, carry out a delegates’ conference and then elect himself president without anyone knowing.

His COVID-19 Song was just a Publicity stunt and not about the real danger- as you can see, he has abandoned all the safety measures.

“This was one of the highly kept secrets because if many people got to know about it, it would be killed before it was realized,” said Bugiri municipality MP Asuman Basalirwa.

He said he was lucky to have been consulted and gave his nod of approval. While unveiling the party, Kyagulanyi said it was important to keep it a secret.

“When we started the People Power Movement about three years ago, we had lengthy discussions about whether or not to register a political party. Our analysis led us to the conclusion that it was both untimely and impractical to form a party. We were alive to the fact that the regime would foil any attempt to register People Power as a political party,” Kyagulanyi said.

But unlike Basalirwa, many People Power Movement bigwigs got to know about the new party just two days to its launch. To some, this was political betrayal and fuelled more internal resentment against Bobi Wine. One person interviewed for this story described MPs; Muwanga Kivumbi, Medard Sseggona and Mathias Mpuuga as captives within People Power.

    Bobi Wine hijacks party idea

The idea of forming a new political party was not new to People Power and its associates. The movement tried and failed to convince Norbert Mao’s Democratic Party to fully back Kyagulanyi for president. Mao believes Kyagulanyi is undisciplined.

At first DP thought they would use Kyagulanyi’s popularity to reclaim their position as the country’s leading opposition political party, a position snatched 15 years ago by the Forum for Democratic Change.

They organized what they called DP reunions, which brought together the breakaway factions of Michael Mabikke of the Social Democratic Party, Lubega Mukaaku’s Truth and Justice and Abed Bwanika’s People’s Development Party. At first the arrangement seemed to work. The group gang of four organized DP reunions at Makerere, Masaka and Jinja which attracted mammoth crowds.

Then came another idea; they nudged Kyagulanyi to sign a memorandum of understanding committing the DP-Block to supporting him for president provided the block selects other candidates.

This was roundly rejected by the musician-cum-politician. “He couldn’t allow it as it would take away his position as a kingmaker,” a source familiar with the story told us. Then Mao started growing restless and impatient with the unruly and undisciplined Kyagulanyi.

The final blow that broke the camel’s came during the Jinja DP reunion. But before that there was the Masaka reunion. In Masaka, Kyagulanyi accused DP of using his name to mobilize political support but insisted on him playing a minimal speaking role at the rallies. He said he wanted more time to speak to the people but event organizers made sure he spoke just at the tail end of every rally.

In Jinja, Mao felt offended that a new boy who had just come onto the political scene  wanted to dictate to seasoned politicians. In Jinja, Mao made it clear to the organizers that he didn’t want Kyagulanyi to attend the rally. But nonetheless, he came. Like he had done with previous rallies, Kyagulanyi arrived when the rally was already underway. He made a grand entry.

His late arrival always attracted frenzied crowd celebrations, cheering him and demanding to hear from him. This was unacceptable to Mao. “How can we organize our functions only for Kyagulanyi to come and disrespect us? Does he know where we get the money from?” Mao allegedly told colleagues.

He left Jinja completely convinced that his political marriage with Kyagulanyi had failed. People like Mabikke, Bwanika, Mukaaku and Lubega equally believed that it was the right time to ditch Kyagulanyi.

“We made him what he is now; we can withdraw our support and give it to another person,” a source familiar with the story told us.

A few days later, Mao, using his weekly DP press conferences, unveiled Joseph Mayanja commonly known as Chameleone as a new recruit for DP. He had a lot in common with Kyagulanyi; they are both musicians, they have an enthusiastic following and they are both Baganda.

He was immediately named DP chief mobilizer. But one sticking problem was that Chameleone had in the past fraternized with the National Resistance Movement and its chairman Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Chameleone was at the center of the Tubonga Nawe, the campaign song for Musevenis re-election in the 2016 elections.

So, the public didn’t warm up to him. Many of them looked at him as an affront to Bobi Wine and the past musical rivalry was revived. In the end, Chameleone and the DP project suffered a stillbirth. To crown it all, Chameleone professed People Power and actually went on to pick nomination papers to contest as its candidate in the Kampala City mayoral race.

    Idea of the party

The DP-reunion block having spectacularly boomeranged, apart from Mao, the other group started thinking about forming a new political party. Meetings that were sometimes held at Busiro East MP Medard Lubega Sseggona and Bukoto South MP Florence Namayanja’s hotel in Masaka started strategizing on how to form a party that would field Kyagulanyi as a presidential candidate. Kyagulanyi and his people attended some of the meetings.

“We all know that we can’t defeat President Museveni through an election but at least we would become the most dominant opposition political force. We would be able to appoint the leader of opposition, and other accountability committees in parliament. We would also get funding from the Electoral Commission based on our numerical strength,” one of the principals in the discussions told us.

At this time the new rift between Mao and his former enemies led by Sseggona and Mpuuga had reached fever pitch levels. It became apparent that it would be extremely impossible for people like Sseggona, Betty Nambooze, Mathias Mpuuga, Mawanga Kivumbi and Florence Namayanja, among others, to be selected as DP flag bearers.

The group started pushing for a change of party leadership, accusing Mao of financial impropriety. But according to one of their colleagues, this accusation was mainly a mirage. The actual reason was Mao’s determined push to deny them the party ticket. In a recent interview, Mao said as much.

“Their only concern is to win their small constituencies and the talk about liberating Uganda is just empty. Those who want to liberate Uganda don’t talk like that. Do they think they can liberate Uganda without Mao? Most of them won very narrowly to go to parliament. They won by less than 50 percent. They don’t want competition because last time we didn’t have primaries for incumbents and the mere fact that we have announced that this time round everyone is welcome to compete, that’s why they are up in arms,” Mao said in a recent interview.

According to another person familiar with the story, the idea of forming a new party got off the radar because the principals believed it would be very difficult to pull it off in the remaining time. They thought that Kyagulanyi too had abandoned it. They were wrong. Two days before Kyagulanyi’s declaration of the National Unity Platform on July 22, he called some of them like Sseggona.

“You can’t imagine the turmoil he has caused. They didn’t know how to respond. Embracing the party would automatically mean forfeiting the DP ticket,” a source told us. Last Thursday and Friday, the group met at Sseggona’s home for a crisis meeting to see how to respond.

They were in disarray; they dusted the DP block thing and declared that they support Kyagulanyi for president. Why was it necessary to make another declaration yet all along everybody knew they are Kyagulanyi supporters?

The group was in a dilemma. Most of them have a low opinion of Kyagulanyi; they can’t imagine seasoned politicians of their stature can be in a party led by Kyagulanyi and his cronies and they are just onlookers. Secondly, they don’t trust many of the people that Kyagulanyi works with closely.

People like Benjamin Katana and Lewis Rubongoya who are recent recruits from the NRM are suspected of still being allied to the government. Even the deal that saw Kyagulanyi buy off Moses Nkonge Kibalama’s party, the National Unity, Reconciliation and Development Party, was suspect.

They believe, Kibalama who has been working closely with the NRM and has ‘a great appetite for money’ can’t be a man who can negotiate a deal with Kyagulanyi and pull it off without the state ever knowing.

“He has no credibility; you know he has ever been implicated in a robbery. He has also ever forged government stamps to take a delegation from Uganda to attend a UN conference. That’s not a man you would trust,” another person told us.

Speaking at the Capital Gang over the weekend, Ofwono Opondo, the government spokesperson, said Kibalama has been working with  government.

“I think Kyagulanyi either knowingly or not is being used. Do you know that on the day Steven Kaziimba Mugalu was sworn in as archbishop, Museveni met Barbie’s parents?” a person familiar with what happened in People Power told us referring to Kyagulanyi’s wife Barbie Itungo. On top of being suspicious, the likes of Kivumbi and Sseggona, accuse Kyagulanyi of disrespect.

“The guy comes in a meeting and they expect you to stand up for him. They then bring for him a chair and he is like a boss to us. You don’t do that to colleagues,” a source quotes Kivumbi as saying of Bobi Wine.

The Forum for Democratic Change especially the group allied to former President Dr Kizza Besigye, had started warming up to Kyagulanyi thinking that they would support his presidential ambitions.

“Dr Besigye had made it extremely very clear that he wasn’t going to be dragged into this election. He kept on saying that even in 2016, he had given up participating in elections whose results are already predetermined but he was dragged into it when he was very unprepared,” a source close to FDC told us.

He adds that Besigye and his People’s Government started holding meetings with Kyagulanyi’s group with a view of harmonizing positions. “But he would come in meetings with people like Nubian Li, Chairman Nyanzi and Rubongoya, you ask yourself does he really take these things seriously?”

“After several meetings, many of Besigye’s top confidants gave up on Kyagulanyi and started begging Besigye to reconsider his position on contesting again. People like Patrick Amuriat Oboi, the FDC president, Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, the Lubaga division mayor, Ingrid Turinawe, the secretary for mobilization, Betty Aol Ochan, the leader of opposition in parliament, Wafula Oguttu, the former leader of opposition, all begged but failed to convince Besigye to reconsider his views about elections. Having failed in their efforts, some said there was no way they would have Kyagulanyi as their candidate. And now that he has registered his own political party that door, has been completely shut.”

“We shall have a candidate in whatever form. Even if he’s not at the same level with Besigye. There is no way we can have Bobi Wine as the chief executive of our country,” the source said.

When contacted for a comment, Kira municipality MP who doubles also as the FDC spokesperson, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda said they will be nominating presidential candidates next week.

“If it was not for Eid, we would have the nominations on Friday this week but they have been pushed to next week,” Ssemujju said.

Asked who the potential candidates are, the opposition chief whip declined to say.

“I don’t know but next week is not very far, wait and see,”

For now, political daggers have been drawn and as we slowly but surely draw towards 2021, no one knows what will happen. What’s for sure, Kyagulanyi has muddied the political waters whether anybody including himself will be able to swim through is left to be seen.

Bobi wine is being groomed into a Dictator

Bobi WinePeople Power is grooming another dictator.

At first Bobi wine came as a good and neutral politician. He was at the forefront of advocating for a joint presidential candidate and he was appealing to other political politicians to join hands with him through proper channels to see that the opposition is represented by a single candidate at the polls of 2021. By then he was a nationalist who exhibited a patriotic spirit because he was selfless and he seemed to pursue comprehensive interests of all Ugandans.

However, due to too much excitement and political amateurism he has changed of late. He has surrounded himself with political vultures, mostly political failures who have made his bandwagon to look like a motley crew of headless chickens devoid of any good coherent political ideology necessary to steer the nation forward. Most of his supporters are venerating him like a king and they have honourably accorded him the infallibility status. Whenever he sneezes his gullible supporters catch flu. When he speaks against any idea, whether he is right or wrong, the gullible and extremist supporters of his just shake their heads in agreement without question. All along he has been quoted demonizing political parties and the doctrines they stand for but to the astonishment of every sensible politician, kyagulanyi promulgated a new political party of his without shame. Even his gullible supporters who used to back him when he was wreaking havoc on political parties went into silence

people invest in being opposition candidates

If the amount of energy, time and resources people invest in being opposition candidates to get positions were a quarter of what they invest in removing Museveni from power without going through his sham election, Uganda would be free.

When we are looking for fighters, people hide, and when Museveni plans a sham election, they come out in full swing to fight for flags.

To defeat a dictatorship, you need fighters and not candidates nor agents.

Just see how busy Nasser road is as they print posters. But look for money to buy food arrested fighters and all those printing posters will not be seen anywhere.

Bobi Wine is addicted to Stealing

It’s not the first time Bobi Wine has been caught stealing other people’s works. Just like he was caught stealing land by Buganda Kingdom, he thought he could join politics and continue with stealing. After stealing and abusing the word “People Power”, he went on to steal a colour of a national political party, the Uganda People’s Congress-UPC.

    Bobi Wine

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Justice Simon Byabakama has sent a strong warning to the National Unity Platform (NUP) party over their continued use of the red colour in their flag.

The NUP party led by the Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who also doubles as the leader of the People Power movement have been using the red colour since they took over its leadership recently.

It should be noted that even when launching the People Power movement, Bobi Wine used the Red Colour and this partly explains why when he was taking over NUP leadership, Bobi Wine chose to front a Red colour in spite of the party having white and navy blue too.

The red colour, to Bobi wine and his supporters, is seen as a sign of brotherhood which binds all of them.
However, Byabakama said that despite his (Bobi Wine) pleas to be granted full access to the colour and use it during the campaigns, the commission did not grant it.

“UPC are the rightful owners of the red colour,” he noted

BOBI WINE AND GROUP ADVISED TO STOP USING RED COLOUR

BOBI WINE AND GROUP ADVISED TO STOP USING RED COLOUR, ELECTORAL COMMISSION SAID, RED BELONGS TO UPC.

IN THIS, WHETHER YOU LIKE ME OR NOT, I STAND WITH ELECTORAL COMMISSION.

Do you know Why parties use colours? it’s their identity, eg if someone says u are yellow we just know your are NRM you are blue we know FDC you are green DP, You are red we know UPC, please don’t confuse things, this people power thing was started by Dr Kizza Besigye with Red color not as a political party but pressure group to resist Togikwatako but opportunist Bobi wine hijacked it and you want the red colour of a historical party just to be hijacked by a small party, No, No, No.

You people, you don’t know that Bobi wine is a paid disorganizer and if you are careful, Bobi wine will end up disorganizing all the political parties and sold them to Museveni, Do you still remember the time when we were in campaigns in Kyadondo? some of the members in FDC abandoned Apollo Kantinti the flag bearer and foolishly supported Bobi wine, Have you seen the way how a fool turned against you? Now he has turned the same madness to disorganize UPC.

BOBI WINE TELLS UGANDANS TO BREAK COVID-19 SAFETY RULES

In Uganda, most people would believe a lie told about someone without asking any questions. If ignorance is bliss, majority of Ugandans in their 20s must be orgasmic. They feigned ignorance (or maybe they were not feigning at all) when Bobi Wine’s group started telling them that Dr. Kiiza Besigye is a mole and he (Bobi) is the only true opposition. The great irony here, however, is that Bobi, unlike every person in his People Power Movement (now NUP party), knew that Besigye was/is a genuine opposition leader but he kept quite over it for two consecutive years- simply to promote his political career— and that makes him a hypocrite in my book, and a guy who cannot be trusted by anybody.

As if Bobi has not done enough damage within the opposition; he is continuing to distract the efforts of the coronavirus public health promotion team. Last year the pandemic broke out in China, by December, most Ugandans were mocking the Chinese with statements such as,’ they eat rats, dogs, bats- that’s why they are sick, it is a Chinese disease.’

Fast forward February 2020, when the virus is spreading like wildfire, most of them began saying, “It is only affecting people who are white.’ Then, Black Americans started testing positive, and the message changed to, “Someone has paid them, they are acting up, those guys are actors, a black man is immune to the virus because of the Melanin in their skin, even Chinese doctors said so, etc.”

Then, more cases started being reported in Africa, especially in the north. Eventually, President Museveni put Uganda under lockdown, and what do Ugandans say? “We can’t afford the lockdown, we are unemployed, there’s no Covid here; patients in quarantine are dancing, how are we going to put food on the table? …blah blah.”

Now, as the country prepares for the 2021 elections, the Electoral Commission produced a road map which includes banning rallies and public gatherings. Guess what? Bobi pops up again with his selfishness and said, ‘’It’s time we begin disregarding all those restrictions and let’s start now: Whoever arrests or questions you as to why you aren’t complying with the same, tell them it’s President Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu who directed us to. And then we see what they can do to you.”

I can’t believe he’s being allowed to take advantage of our ill-informed people to the extent of risking their lives into something as useless as election rallies—after all, the winner of the forthcoming elections is already known. And if Museveni puts the country under lockdown again, you will find people lamenting again. Yes, there is no doubt that Museveni has profited greatly from Covid-19, but the level of misinformation and disinformation displayed by the population and some leaders is worrying.

Marcus Garvey once said: ‘Never forget that intelligence rules the world and ignorance carries the burden.’ Therefore, my people need to wake up. Our ignorance is the main thing pulling us back!

Bobi Wine’s political party must reserve red colour for UPC

The Electoral Commission has given an explanation as to why Bobi Wine’s new political party, the National Unity Platform (NUP) must reserve red colour for Uganda People’s Congress (UPC).

Chairman Justice Simon Byabakama says the Electoral Commission only allowed change and gazette of name from National Unity Reconciliation and Development party (NURDP) to National Unity Platform (NUP) and not the red color.

Byabakama told reporters in Kampala on Tuesday that the name, NUP was successfully gazetted but not the colour.

NUP, previously NURDP provides for three colours, that is red, white and navy blue but NUP chose red as a dominant color.

“NUP wrote to us last year with intention to change the name from National Unity Reconciliation and Development party to the current National Unity Platform,” he said.

“The Political Parties and Organizations Act section 11 says that any political party which wishes to change its Constitution, identifies symbol, colour or name shall notify the Electoral Commission about that intention and the Commission on its part after getting that notification shall cause that change, publish in the gazette, which we did. We put this notification in the gazette,” said Byabakama.

After the Electoral Commission accepted the change of name from NURDP to NUP, Byabakama said NUP again wrote to the Electoral Commission for change of colour from navy blue and white to dominant red.

The change of color, he said was not accepted by the Electoral Commission.

“We wrote to NUP and pointed out that the colour red you wanted was already utilised by the Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) which has been on for so many years. We pointed out to them that their request was not entertained (to change the colour of their symbol). As we talk, we have not had any feedback or response from them regarding the advice we gave them. The law says, even if you are changing the symbol or colour, it must be gazetted by the Commission. We gazetted change of name, we have not gazetted change of color,” said Byabakama.

    Bobi Wine National Unity Platform

Bobi WineArtistes Jeniffer Nakingube alias Full-Figure has lambasted all artistes joining Bobi Wine in the National Unity Platform, labeling them failures.

Full Figure who ironically had her own share of the music industry, and could not raise a couple of songs, now claims that many of those running to Bobi Wine have failed to sustain their lives through music.

Full Figure claims that the many artistes that have run to Bobi will still not get an alternative source of survival because things will only get from bad to worse.

She gives an example of Derrick Katongole alias Victor Kamenyo, who is said to be battling rent arrears.

Kamenyo was over the weekend said to be on the run for defaulting rent to the tune of Shs3.5m. Now full figure says such artistes are the ones running to Bobi Wine to seek refuge in politics but will be disappointed further.

“Someone like Kamenyo (Victor) he sings one song every after three years, but wants to live expensively, where will he get such money? Such people are now the ones joining Bobi Wine after they will be worse than they joined,” she said.

Full Figure said music is not a business but part of life, “if you make music your business, you will be in trouble, people like Kamenyo are not artistes, but gamblers. People like that are running into the wave of politics.”

“If you follow people who are picking forms from NUP, they are the type; People like Katongole (Omutongole) Khalifah Aganaga, these are the people without spine, they have no idea what they are doing. Many of them will end up like Victor Kamenyo,” she added.

Full Figure’s comments come at a time when Bobi Wine in unveiling artistes in his new party.

Among those unveiled include; Katongole Omuntongole (formerly with Bukedde TV), Djacobs Omutuuze a presenter with Ddembe FM, Aziz Azion, Geoffrey Lutaya, and wife Irene Namatovu, Dr Hilderman, Young Mulo, Victor Kamenyo, and Kazibwe Kapo among others.

Others are; Comedian MC Kapale, Gerald Kiwewa, Kadongokamu singer Mamuli Katumba, Mathias Walukaga, Rodney Y Kabako, Diamond Oscar and Bobi Wine’s elder brother Eddie Yaweh among others.

    Bobi Wine lacks vision

bobi wineAccording to Ugandan scholar turned politician, Dr. Stella Nyanzi, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine developed some form of brain disorder since the launch of his National Unity Party(NUP), a political wing of People Power.

The 45 year old Makerere University academic said that she had wholesome support for Bobi Wine when he was still running the #PeoplePower pressure group but ever since the Ugandan pop star formed a coalition with the National Unity Platform, she got so disappointed and therefore decided to distance herself from that mess.

As a highly educated feminist, Stella could not rally behind NUP which she said has no visible political structures and so it is an abomination if she continues to ride on such an aimless political bandwagon.

‘‘NUP doesn’t have structures, I can’t be affiliated to it. Even ethics in my profession can never allow that, it’s an abomination.’’ Nyanzi noted.

Social media trolls have continued to wonder why the Makerere researcher has moved back to FDC but according to her, she rather goes back to tried and tested FDC than rally behind Bobi Wine who lacks vision.

BOBI WINE WILL NEVER BE A PRESIDENT OF UGANDA

Bobi WineTHE 10 REASONS WHY BOBI WINE WILL NEVER BE A PRESIDENT OF UGANDA
    ~Whereas Bobi Wine has n given the greatest support by imperialism agents more than any other opposition politician in Uganda 🇺🇬, Bobi Wine will never be the CiC of the Armed Forces and Fountain of Honor of the Republic of Uganda ie the President. And this is because of the following 10 reasons according to my opinion;

*1. Bobi Wine is just a Sellout and puppet:*

~A sellout means omuliwenkwe. One who who has been bought to betray his own land.

~As the World sees him as a hero as portrayed by the paid local and international deception to trend in mainstream media, the reality matters. He is just a sellout and puppet. A puppet is a one who agree to act in accordance to foreigners.

~Bobi Wine is still in the same context of leaders as seen in the 1975 movie directed by Ousmane Sembène that illustrated the situation of sellout puppets after Senegal 🇸🇳 got independence. Look for that movie titled Xala.

*2. Bobi is too myopic when it comes to political leadership arena*

~If I was to vote another leader apart from Museveni, I would rather vote for Muntu, Akena or Mao. They are oppositions of substance.

~I rather pick from other politicians and vote for Nsereko or Abdu Katuntu.

~Even if I was to look for a comedian to act as a President of Uganda 🇺🇬 in a movie, I would vote for Kato Lubwama. He would quickly learn the script and do as directed.

~But when it comes to matters of national development, then Bobi Wine is a “waste of time”.

~I recall a certain viral video of him being interviewed, he told his aid to switch off a generator as was “speaking English”. “Jawo generator tuli wano mukwogela oluzungu” – he said. For him, being interviewed while speaking English is still an important issue.

~I don’t think even an S. 4 chap that is politically upright can still be with such a thinking capacity and excitement.

~ I really wonder why enemies of Uganda hate us so much to the extent that they front such a politically myopic person to take over the leadership of the Pearl of Africa. Why such a hate surely, what did we do to them to reach at such a magnitude of hate?

*3. Bobi Wine plays a dirty game:*

~When you are myopic, it means that you are unable to see far. When he was picked from entertainment arena where he had mastered music of hate and abuses, it seems he was encouraged to keep it up when it comes to politics.

~Bobi Wine thinks that to be in opposition you must be angry, hissing, cursing, abusive, deceptive etc. Just look at his followers he had lead in these few months. Look at him on a microphone. Recall him in parliament. Him and his supporters resort to abuses, disrespect, violence and don’t use appropriate legitimacy.

~Uganda 🇺🇬 is now too advanced in politics. Whereas in other countries you abuse the President and dig your own grave, here in Uganda you stone the President, break parliamentary furniture in front of the Speaker of Parliament, and later you go home and sleep peacefully like a baby.

~Uganda is no longer a country where abusive language and defiance are yardsticks of political success. We now want intellectually upright leaders who know what the country wants.

*4. Bobi Wine is just imitative and not creative at all:*

~He studied drama at University, and is slightly creative and talented in music but too unable when it comes to creativity in the political arena.

~I saw him using riot style of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr in 1965. That style of holding each other with elbows as a chain of strength. It was used in marching from Selma to Montgomery during the call for voting rights of black people. This guy should have copied this from Selma a 2014 historical drama film directed by Ava DuVernay and written by Paul Webb.

~I saw him cutting his hair like Mandela during time he was fighting for apartheid in South Africa. He once posed reading a book by Medela, titled “Long Walk to Freedom”. What shocked me, he was posing as reading it while on a burial.

~And you expect a patriot or Pan Afrikanist to vote for such a character to be the President of Uganda 🇺🇬? Such shall Never be the President.

~This man moves in virtual reality. That because Obote was saying Museveni won’t win, and Museveni worn, likewise he will also win. That’s a childlike way of thinking. Bobi Wine isn’t Museveni, Martin Luther King Jr, Che Guevara etc. This is just non ideal.

*5. Bobi Wine lacks research and right cause:*

~I laugh at him when he imitates at anything. The man surely is so green when it comes to campaigning and leadership.

~He never speaks with confidence and exact issues that are worth of convincing an understanding voter to vote.

~He is not familiar with facts and intellectual reasoning. He thinks that using ghetto approach of thinking will apply to all sectors.

~In around 1960 to 1980, Afrika had over 100 coups d’état. This was because the Presidents, army and other leaders were so ignorant about leadership.

~They were green about elite forces, political education and relations with the public.

~That exact kind of leadership approach is seen in Bobi Wine. He lacks touch with real life of the political system. He thinks that people are not understanding and so he can lie to us to vote him. Never shall such a character step in Entebbe State House. Never!

    *6. False revolution he leads*

~The BBC and other international media have been reporting of a certain hero in Uganda 🇺🇬, Bobi Wine. And I laugh my ribs out. Why is deception taking high level to this extent?

~Who is Bobi Wine these guys keep uplifting? Which revolution is in Uganda? This media excitement is the revolution they mean?

~Smartly dressed, he goes on podiums to talk about Uganda’s challenges using existing obvious challenges affecting a Low Developed Country (LDC). Who doesn’t know that in an LDC there are poor standards of living, poor health care and infrastructure?

~These enemies of Uganda and Afrika use such myopic people to fulfill their agenda. The similar brainwashed Ugandan will chant in jubilation that they have got a savior.

~Instead of coming up with solution based approaches to solving Uganda’s problems, this leadership excited Bobi Wine utters things he is not sure about. I remember him being asked about economic polices he had for Uganda he just summered. Oh! We have seen days in our beloved country that’s why we have such a person also contesting as a presidential material.

    *7. Bobi doesn’t love Uganda* 🇺🇬

~Why should Uganda 🇺🇬 have a President who doesn’t love it? Why should he claim to love Uganda when he associates with her enemies?

~Bobi Wine has done nothing at all to show that he really loves Uganda. I challenge anyone to give only 10 things that Uganda has benefited from him. Just use Kyadondo as a case.

~Bobi Wine doesn’t have Uganda 🇺🇬 at heart. He has no plans to make Uganda a better place to live in when instead he uses deceptive ways to show that the country he is from is as bad as he portrays.

    *8. Political maturity in Uganda:*

~When I am ranking Afrikan countries, Uganda is in the first 10 which have raised their heads to be decision makers on Afrikan level and showing potential on international level.

~With Uganda’s strong foreign policy as seen in her good relationship with Afrikan countries and other continents, we deserve a leader not this political puppet.

~The security strength of Uganda has extended arm and saved lives of millions of people in over 5 countries. We have been a country worth sharing ideas on international matters like intentional security because of our capable leadership to fight international crime across the country and region among many other achievements.

~Bobi Wine is like a Primary chap when it comes to intentional relations and diplomacy. He can’t be in the shoes of Giant General Museveni to push our roles ahead by just a centimeter.

~Whoever is unable to hold our external relationships means he wants to make us weak. Whoever has no voice to represent us to international issues is a useless leader, and Bobi Wine is not capable even if he was given 15 years of preparation .

~The last time I saw him representing Uganda 🇺🇬 was in July 2019 when he received an award from LGBT group at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition Annual Conference in Chicago, in the United States of America. What a disgrace to our motherland, a home of heroes and heroins!

    *9. The nationalist factor:*

~Of the 17.7 million voters in 2020 according to Electoral Commission, Uganda 🇺🇬 has many patriots and nationalists. I am part of this group.

~We can’t tolerate nonsense. Just surrendering our motherland to Bobi Wine. What a loss shall it be to our country. What kind of traitors shall we be!

~Although there are Ugandans brainwashed to follow the teachings of local and international media to support this puppet Bobi Wine, majority of Ugandan people will neutralize such to make sure that they don’t succeed by any reasonable margin by all means whatsoever.

    *10. The Ruhanga/God factor!*

~As a believer, I know that a lot forces attack nations both physical and spiritual. However, Uganda 🇺🇬 is covered by the hand of Ruhanga/Katonda/Allah/God.

~Uganda has cried enough to the Lord because of bad leaders. For years we had suffered. Today we see enemies of Uganda 🇺🇬 fronting their puppet Bobi Wine. But I wish to assure them that he will never be the President of Uganda 🇺🇬. God isn’t sleeping. No more room for imperialism agents and traitors in Uganda.
