UgandaKeymasterBETTY NAMBOOZE REMAINS THE UNDISPUTED POLITICAL PARASITE
Betty Nambooze remains the undisputed political parasite in the history of Uganda. She uses emotional blackmail to hoodwink Ugandans that she’s a democrat and freedom fighter, while she’s not. But a political prostitute that moves around different political parties every election season. The likes of Betty Nambooze thrive on tribalism and self importance. For over 20 years, she has been a parasite on the Ugandan taxpayers, and she still wants more years sponging on Ugandans.
Today, she has joined another parasitic political organisation the National Unity platform NUP, that lacks internal democracy, as an a clique of people pick candidates, and don’t let an elective process take place.
Wonders don’t end.(as we told you NUP has owners not for Ugandans)
A two months member of NUP to quit NUP.
Easy come Easy go,Buli mbuzi kukyikondo kyayo. Hon come and join parties with structures where giving of flag is democratically done not by where one member decides who are flag bearers in the whole Party ??uganda.ae.org

UgandaKeymasterBOBI WINE’S WHISPER OF LIES
HOW BOBI WINE’S WHISPER OF LIES CHANGED KIBALAMA’S STATEMENT IN COURT.
It has been revealed that on 25th September while in court, BOBI WINE approached Kibalama and whispered to him that he had deposited the 5 million dollars to his account as they had earlier agreed.
BOBI WINE pleaded with Kibalama to change the statement and pin security as well as denying the 5 million dollars agreement.
Kibalama decided to go through with the plan but he didn’t at any point say he was being tortured by the security forces who have been offering him protection.
After the Court session, Bobi Wine decided to twist the financial bargain they had with Kibalama and alleged that Kibalama was revealing to him how he is being tortured by the army.
Kibalama was angered by Bobi Wine’s utterances in addition to fact that Bobi had not paid the money as he had whispered to him while in court.
Kibalama immediately called a press conference and revealed how Bobi Wine was lying to the world by alleging that Kabalama is not free and he has been tortured by the army and they had removed his toes.
He showed the entire world his feet with all his toes intact and with no signs of torture. He also revealed that he has never seen a lying and manipulative man like Bobi Wine.
Kibalama was later seen taking some beer in the evening like any other free man as Kyagulanyi went back home exposed as a lier.uganda.ae.org

UgandaKeymasterOPPOSITION MPS INVENTED RED COLOUR
Today 27/9/2017 Opposition MPs invented Red colour presenting brotherhood and solidarity to fight Removal of age limit. Ugandans joined the cause and donned Red colour but they didn’t know that Political entrepreneur Bobi Wine was eyeing it. It later became his property and now HE sells Cards with his brother C/M Nyanzi for their own benefit. The same MPs fell for his machination and quit their mother parties and kneel for him and pat money to be given a card to contest. How years go by?uganda.ae.org

UgandaKeymasterNothing good has come out from National Unity Platform party
Having had a love-relation with the People Power fanatics now the National Unity Platform party, the outspoken Stella Nyanzi has commented the ongoing ruckus sprouting the party vetting. While appearing on a Talk show Nyanzi said looking back at the People Power mantle the disputes happening in NUP are saddening.
“ I hear In order to be endorsed by NUP you either have to have money, are connected to the big men in the party or even offer sex to Chairman Nyanzi,” said Nyanzi
Nyanzi also said that the ruling party National Resistance Movement members bought the NUP tickets and were made flag bearers.
She further said that many people that have joined NUP are not after the liberation struggle but are after political offices. She also advised the NUP team to re-ignite the People Power spirit. She also said that aside from giving some people an opportunity of participating in the country’s politics, she doesn’t see anything good that has come out from NUP.uganda.ae.org

UgandaKeymasterThe National Union Party(NUP) is a Dictatorship
The National Union Party(NUP) vetting committee has released a list of the party flag bearers for the 2021 elections, and I am not surprised that there are a lot of disappointments, complaints, and tears. Basically, the way they have done it is not any different from any ‘dictatorship’ out there—a group of people locked themselves in the room and decided the political future of others. The party claims that they sent a team of people to consult on the popularity of the candidates on the ground, but, so far, there has been no evidence of this. For argument’s sake, even if this team went on the ground, it may not represent the true feelings of the people because the team could easily be corrupted.
The fact of the matter is, the party leadership are wilfully and aggressively dictatorial, and this is not good for the future of democracy in our country. Our form of government is arguably a representative democracy, meaning our laws are enacted by elected representatives and not by direct vote. This is expected to be reflected in all political parties when choosing their leaders. Unfortunately, we have NUP and NRM picking Kyagulanyi and Museveni as sole presidential candidates respectively, without any competition within their parties. Now, NUP is being run like a disorganized mob acting in unison. It is the law only as long as the majority of the leadership at Kamwokya agree it is the law.
If NUP’s party constitution allows them to do vetting rather than primaries, then I think it’s a party promoting a bad law, and I’m not sure yet if the members dropped could take them to court over this—there is something unconstitutional about this. The hope is that good laws outweigh and correct the bad. We live in the state we choose to make.uganda.ae.org

UgandaKeymasterBOBI WINE HAS DEVIATED FROM THE STRUGGLE
BOBI WINE HAS DEVIATED FROM THE COURSE OF THE STRUGGLE – CHAMELEON
Kampala Mayor aspirant, Joseph Mayanja alias Chameleon has expressed his disappointment in the National Unity Platform (NUP) for deviating from the ‘struggle’ and turning into a business entity benefiting a few people.
While addressing journalists shortly before he was nominated at the EC Kampala district offices in Ntinda, Chameleon said that his fight is now not only against the ruling NRM but also against the so-called members of the opposition whom he says are just hiding in the struggle for their own benefits.
He said that NUP was built on People power and it is disappointing to have a few people who are being influenced by the bosses handpicking the flag bearers.
Chameleon was a few days ago denied a ticket by National Unity Platform to compete in the Kampala Lord Mayor elections.
The singer according assessments reports was among other reasons dumped for being a catholic, short of requirements which would require a Muslim at this stage to battle Erias Lukwago, another Muslim.
Many NUP members have expressed their disappointments after being denied NUP flag, citing tribalism, corruption and extortion by the party’s chief mobilizer, Fred Nyanzi.uganda.ae.org

UgandaKeymasterNalongo Nabossa Esther has run to the Internal Security Organization
Nalongo Nabossa Esther has run to the Internal Security Organization seeking for state protection after getting several death threats from supporters of the People Power movement under Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
Nalongo Naboosa says she is targeted to be killed by Robert Kyagulanyi supporters because she supports President Museveni and the National Resistance Movement party.
She adds that she is the one who raised Kyagulanyi from a very young age after his mother passed on and her being a sister to his late mother .
She maintains that she will continue to support the ruling party saying that Kyagulanyi and his supporters who want to kill her were able to grow up into responsible citizens and successful in life because of the conducive environment that has been prevailing under President Museveni and the NRM party.
The Internal Security Organization Director General Kaka Bagyenda says Naboosa was picked from Kamwokya slums where she was hiding from the People Power supporters who wanted to finish her life.
He says she is now in safe hands and will be helped to acquire land, build a house to start living in a descent life.uganda.ae.org

Bobi Wine Misled me to Join People Power – Katongole Omutogole
Struggling Radio and TV host Katongole Omutongole has blamed National Unity Platform ( NUP) boss, Bobi Wine for misleading him to join People Power but failed to secure a party ticket for him. Katongole said Bobi Wine messed up his political career.“Bobi Wine persuaded me to join the party but he failed to give me a party ticket. We thought he would openly welcome us but he ignored us,” he said.

UgandaKeymasterNUP is Bobi Wine plus Nyazi business company!
So Bobi Wine denied his brother Yawe a ticket just to make us think NUP is not his family business? That’s complete fuckery. NUP is Bobi Wine plus Nyazi business company! Maybe he knew he would still lose miserably like he did last time.
If you want to know that Nambooze’s group (DP) defectors just want to protect their jobs in the name of the struggle, deny them the party flag and see if they won’t come as Independents. Opposition in Uganda is about self liberation. What if the People who missed out on the NUP-CARD also form NUP-BLOC?Political prostitution and Nomadism should stop and everyone should be responsible for the success or failures of his or her political party..Egoism is sometimes not good because the more you see yourself as the missing link in any program or project, an amateur might surprise you by performing exceptionally well and your presence will cease to matter..
“Why would Bobi Wine want to go to State House Uganda direct minus being groomed politically as how others did?
We are supposed to have political structures right from the ground and according to people’s capacities in terms of education, militarily to avoid coup d’etats and exposure, people should not just bump into politics moreover for higher offices, there should be a process of grooming future leaders not to look at comedians and musicians and think how they entertain us publically will be the same as to represent country on National Issues.
For example you know very well that Rwanda President banned social gatherings not only this but everyday here in Uganda we register citizens who are being succumbed by covid19 but for you as a musician you keep organising gathering and what shocks you don’t want to tell the public how covid is serious killing ugandans
And what shocks Bobi Wine blame electoral Commission bosses because of telling him to stop gathering innocent Ugandans to avoid covid19 disease spread!
Whenever I look at people who support such a person I feel sorry for them, a person who is not bothering on your lives…For sure change in leadership is still far if our thinking don’t change.
This is why I call upon all Ugandans to think about voting groomed leaders not to vote anyhow as I hear from few people because if he was groomed he would not allow ignorant and hopeless people to attend his political campaigns in number I always see.uganda.ae.org

Looking for the name of the movie NUP is playing! Actors never die,but the film star is dying in his movie, for the first time!

What annoys me most is that these are the same people abagambba Museveni ageende yet him and the group can’t give room to others. Two terms you have been in office, Nambooze is contesting for a fourth term, Semujju 5th term Seggona 3rd term kyoka bbo no problem but museveni is a problem to stay in power. I swear when Museveni retires these guys won’t have what to tell the young generation, because Museveni is their business. That’s why I ask are we ready for change if yes, are these idiots the likes of Nambooze and group ready for change or do they love change? I think they can advocate change but they don’t vote for change. I see young people trusting these idiots and I pity them. Just imagine they waited for Besigye to announce that he is not going to contest and they brought their mayuga, mbaliga za Nambooze to NUP hence causing commotion.
This is all nonsense if you fail to build your own power base to win elections then you just sit there thinking you will ride on other people’s support to win elections you’re doomed. Stand as a man and stop this cry baby nonsense.

UgandaKeymasterPENTECOSTAL CHURCHES WON’T BACK BOBI WINE
THE REASONS THE PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES (BALOKOLE) WON’T BACK BOBI WINE/NUP/PEOPLE POWER

Whoever expects to take over the highest office in Uganda, but ignores the Pentecostal church (Balokole, Born Again) in Uganda, does so at own risk of affecting his/her ambitions. Since the coming of President Yoweri Museveni’s NRM to power, the Pentecostal/Balokole churches have prospered than never before. The last 35 years have seen the population of these churches, known back then as biwempe churches, grow partially attributed to faithful from the Anglican/Protestant, Catholic and Muslim faiths preferring them. Churches such as Rubaga Miracles Centre of Pastor Robert Kayanja, Watoto Church, Namirembe Christian Fellowship of Pastor Kayiwa, Pastor Joseph Serwadda’s victory Christian Centre Ndeeba, Pastor Bujingo’s House of Prayer Ministries International, Pastor Senyonga’s Christian Life Church, among others
BOBI WINE/NUP/PEOPLE POWER LINK TO DRUG/MARIJUANA/NJAGA ABUSE.
Bobi Wine’s background, which is highly associated with drug and alcohol use and abuse doesn’t do his and the chances of NUP/People power any advantage in the balokole/Born Again circles, who pride themselves in living lives that are devoid of such. It goes without mentioning that many of the balokole churches are struggling with the rehabilitation of many youths associated with the problem of drug/alcohol abuse, related to the Kamwokya Ghetto. These range from a good number of famous musicians to formerly school going youths who are said to have taken up such habits after joining the Firebase Crew of Bobi Wine or being admirers of Bobi Wine. This therefore puts a huge dent on his efforts and is doing a huge disfavor. The born again leaders will be so inclined towards the person of Yoweri Museveni who in contrast hold a very high moral standing and will overwhelmingly vote for him.
THE FIRST FAMILY CLOSE ASSOCIATION AND LINKS TO THE BALOKOLE
Another factor that will make Bobi Wine’s effort to win highly in this group of voters, very hard compared to President Museveni, is the Balokole/Born again churches’ very close association to the first family. This association may be attributed to most members of the family belonging to this church, but also that church’s attribute of their existence to President Museveni. Therefore the balokole will feel indebted to vote their own, the first family, represented by President Museveni, who will beat Bobi Wine hands down.
THE FINANCIAL FORTUNES AS A RESULT OF POLITICAL STABILITY SINCE 1986
Whereas most born again church pastors may not wish to be associated to money making business as one of the reasons why they exist, it all goes without saying, that under the government of President Yoweri Museveni, they are flourishing. The press is awash with pictures of pastors owning mansions, real estate businesses worth billions, vehicles, schools, media businesses in Kampala’s business Centre and elsewhere. This informs the reason why all of them have been and vigorously resist any idea of taxation by government of the huge amount of monies/property/businesses they collect and own. The reason these leaders will implore their faithful to support President Museveni against Bobi Wine and his People Power/NUP is that they feel they owe the current government their being prosperous and of course it would be selfish and myopic to betray the government or person who has given you space to go untouched compared to others. President Museveni will scoop highly.
Tomorrow I will look at Bobi Wine’s fortunes with a divided Catholic church.

UgandaKeymasterWe who joined the Struggle early
FDC was registered in 2005 just like NUP. Me I started supporting change before I clocked 18 years! If you want to blame anybody for Joining change seeking forces too early, then your among the problems Uganda has.
We who joined the Struggle early are the reasons as to why we have many voices calling for change today.I don’t expect to hear any crap of people blaming the other for fighting for change. If ones fighting for change is a crime to you, them the only master your serving is Mr. Museveni. He is the only one who does not want consistent opposition figures. How on earth can a sane person blame the consistent fighters! Instead of blaming those who did not join the cause early and those who defected to the Junta? Do these people have any common sense really!I am ashamed of the Kamwokya team and their reasoning.

So far their campaign has been: shouting out the words People power, donning red berets, calling themselves true opposition, blaming everyone for fighting the dictator for so long, calling on all experienced fighters to go back home and rest, asking for Museveni’s academic papers, saying FDC is no more, Museveni has feared, MAO is a mole, taking selfies etc! Very disappointed.

For sure I was among those who though Bobi Wine was going to add value to this Struggle. I thought he had some sense in his head; I am very disappointed with the Kamwokya team. Museveni won’t get wished away and your claims without hard work will never remove the dictatorship. But just asking; Is there any sensible person among these clowns? Do we still have people like these ones in Uganda!
But for sure do they understand? Just disgusted by their senseless actions, posts and claims. If they continue on this road, it will be upon every change loving individuals to do all it takes to put an end to this group.

UgandaKeymasterNATIONAL UNITY PLATFORM (NUP)
Last week, the National Unity Platform (NUP) party Elections Management Committee (NUP-EMC) released the list of candidates that will hold their flag in the 2021 Parliamentary elections in the Central region.
Among the constituencies represented, Makindye West, Kawempe South, Kawempe North and Rubaga North have candidates who have been subjected to reevaluation.
Four candidates; MP Allan Ssewanyana, KCCA
Councilor Muhammad Ssegirinya alias Mr. Updates, Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) President Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira and the KCCA Speaker Abubaker Kawalya were finally announced as the flag bearers for Makindye West, Kawempe South, Kawempe North and Rubaga North respectively. The four joined six others who had already secured the NUP endorsement as per the previous list which featured over 85 candidates from the Central Region.
These are;
Fred Nyanzi for MP Kampala Central, Shamim Malende for Woman MP Kampala central,
Joel Ssenyonyi for Nakawa West, Ronald Balimwezo for Nakawa East, Aloysius Mukasa for Rubaga South, and Fred Nyeko for Makindye East. The flag bearer selection has, however, been faced with criticism amounting from alleged irregularities like corruption, bribery and favoritism that was witnessed especially from the vetting officials.
Moses Kasibante alias class monitor, the incumbent MP of Rubaga North who was defeated by Kawalya, Micheal Mabike who was defeated by Nyeko in Makindye East and Keneth Kakande who was weeded out by the party spokesperson for the Nakawa West Parliamentary seat have since declared their intentions of running as independent candidates.“Bobi Wine has no problem but the biggest problem in NUP is that so called NUP Secretary General. We shall not abandon Bobi Wine and leave him to suffer in the hands of these traitors who want to finish up the party but rather fight and regain our power,” Mabike said during a television interview last week.
Veteran Journalist William Ntege alias Kyuma Kya Yesu who also lost the LC5 Councilorship for Makindye East but conceded, says standing as independents by the NUP ticket losers is a direct attack to Robert Kyagulanyi and NUP, which they claim to be serving.
“A flag is just a drop out of this struggle, we are all subjected to the vetting process and if one decides to stand as an independent after being denied the card, it means that they are selfish,” he noted.
In response to Ntege, Kasibante said, “I did not join NUP purposely for the ticket but to play structural politics. It is when I saw an opportunity of standing on the party ticket that I expressed interests but since I was denied the card in favor of the typical NRM mole, let me come back as an independent.”
“I have not abandoned the struggle and thus I will campaign for my president Robert Kyagulanyi,” he added.

Moses Kasibante will stand as an independent candidate in Rubaga North after NUP ticket denial. Will opposition dominate Kampala again?
NUP’s flag bearers’ selection has not only bred a good number of independent candidates in Kampala but also exposed the Central region opposition dominance to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), which seems to be more organized, according to political analysts.
In the tenth Parliament, NRM had only one candidate in all the five Divisions that make up Kampala.
This was, Muhammad Nsereko who was a rebel MP and has since turned to independent candidature after the party chose Cedric Babu to represent them in the 2021 general elections.
The remaining eight constituencies which have since turned into nine after the creation of Nakawa West, were dominated by opposition and independent contenders.
Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) took four (04) positions, the Democratic Party (DP) took one (01) while independents took three (03).
Nabila Naggayi Sempala from FDC won Woman MP Kampala Central, Nakawa Division had Micheal Kabaziguruka from FDC and Mubaraka Munyagwa (FDC) for Kawempe South.FDC also had Ibrahim Kasozi who took over Makindye East.
DP had only one victory in Makindye East for Allan Ssewanyana, who has since crossed to NUP.
Three independent candidates took over Rubaga Division and Kawempe North; Moses Kasibante in Rubaga North, Kato Lubwama in Rubaga South and Latif Ssebagala for Kawempe North.
After being declared NRM’s sole presidential candidate for 2021, President Museveni tasked his members through his personal Assistant Molly Babalanda to recruit a maximum of five campaign agents in each village but with a special emphasize in Kampala and Wakiso.
Kampala and Wakiso Districts alone have over 2.4 million voters, who make up 13% out of the total 17.6 million voters who were registered by the Electoral Commission for the 2021 General Polls.
These make up 43% of the total 5.5 million voters who were registered in the Central Region alone.
Museveni and NRM last won with the Kampala electorate in 1996, after defeating DP’s presidential candidate Dr. Paul Kawanga Ssemwogere with a range of over 50,000 votes. Museveni got 160,925 votes while Ssemwogere scored 105,812 votes.
Opposition versus NRM on ground
Out of over 1.5 million voters who were registered in Kampala, an estimate of over 100,000 which is 6.6% participated in the recently concluded NRM primaries in all the five Divisions of Kampala.
Out of these, 33,832 participated in Kampala Central, 5006 from Nakawa Division, 13,430 in Rubaga Division, 13,704 and 34,976 in Makindye Division, according to media reports.
Break down of the ten constituencies
Kampala Central District
- Kampala Central MP
In the Kampala Central MP race, Cedric Babu in a landslide Victory defeated his two competitors. Babu scored 26,799 votes. The first runner up Baker Mande Kyambade got 4,363 votes while Issa Kato trailed with 2,670 votes.
This enabled Babu to qualify for the general polls where he will face the incumbent Muhammad Nsereko, NUP’s Fred Nyanzi and other independent candidates.
Babu, after his election, said that he is assured of victory given NRM’s popularity on the ground according to the 126 villages he visited.
- Kampala District Woman MP
NRM’s Faridah Nambi who beat her only competitor Shamim Nanfuma will face two major opponents, NUP’s Shamim Malende, a lawyer by profession and FDC’s Dr Stella Nyanzi .
Nambi scored 23,869 votes while her competitor Nanfuma got 19,889 votes.
Nakawa Division
- Nakawa East
The competition in this Division is majorly between three candidates from NUP, NRM and FDC.
NUP fronted the current Mayor of Nakawa Ronald Nsubuga Balimwezo, who will be facing off with FDC’s Michael Kabaziguruka, the incumbent.
NRM has fronted Fredrich Ruhindi who was defeated by Kabaziguruka in the 2016 general elections. He was unopposed during the primaries and this partly explains why some of his campaign posters just bear his picture without his names, with a big text “HE IS BACK”.
- Nakawa West
The former East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) Speaker Magret Zziwa beat her two competitors, Ben Kalumba and a Ugandan of Indian origin Mukesh Shukla in a tight race to win the NRM ticket for this Constituency.
In a race which was marred with violence and bribery, Zziwa scored 1991 votes, followed by Mukesh with 1275 votes and Kalumba with 1260 votes.

Magret Zziwa will face off with NUP’s Joel Ssenyonyi. Zziwa will face, so far, two candidates who have expressed interest for this position and these are; NUP’s spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi and Kenneth Kakande.
Kakande was with Ssenyonyi in the NUP ticket race but has since decided to stand as an independent after accusing the commission being biased and fronting favoritism.
Rubaga Division
- Rubaga North
NUP’s Abubakar Kawalya who is the current KCCA Speaker will face the incumbent Moses Kasibante who has decided to come as an independent after the NUP card denial.
The two will face NRM’ Betty Kamya, the current Cabinet Minister for Lands who smashed his two competitors Brian Tindyebwa and Dr. Isaac Lwanga to get the party ticket.
Kamya scored 6,464 votes, Tindyebwa got 671 while Dr. Lwanga secured four (04) votes.
“The voting has been done in broad day light and it is very clear it was lining behind and I hope no one will complain,” Kamya said after being declared.
Kasibante, who accused Kawalya of being a mole, has vowed to “chase away all intruders from Rubaga North.”
- Rubaga South
Aloysius Mukasa of NUP will face Charles Kenneth Male from the NRM.
Singer Sadat Mukiibi alias Aganaga was denied the NUP ticket and has since joined NRM.
NRM’s Male defeated his two competitors; Mpiima Ssenoga and Ritah Kulabako to win the party card.
Male got 2,214 votes, followed by Ssenoga with 2,077 votes and Kulabako with 200 votes.
The two will face the incumbent Kato Lubwama who won the Seat from DP’s Ken Lukyamuzi in 2016.
Kato Lubwama, who asked his voters to “give me the votes so I can go and eat,” has since asked them, again, to “give me the votes and we eat together this time.”
Kawempe Division
- Kawempe South
NUP has fronted the Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) President Bashir Kazibwe Mbazira to contest against FDC’s Mubarak Munyagwa alias Mugati gwa Baata, who is also the incumbent.
The two will have to work hard to defeat NRM’s Solomon Mayanja.
Munyagwa has since started his campaigns against those he calls “intruders who aim at giving the bread to the wolf.”

UJA President Kazibwe Bashir Mbazira scooped the NUP ticket for Kawempe South. - Kawempe North
The withdrawal of Hajji Latif Ssebagala from the constituency’s MP race last year when he announced his mayoral bid led to the rise of new ‘political amateurs’ who will be taking up the seat if voted in.
KCCA Councilor Muhammad Ssegirinya won the Kawempe North NUP ticket.
Ssegirinya, who started as a regular radio enthusiast has since transformed into a Lord Councilor who has done what people term as ‘wonders’.
He beat Suleiman Kidandala, the NUP National Mobiliser to get the ticket and will be contesting with NRM’s Denis Ndyamukahi for the Kawempe South MP post.
Makindye Division
- Makindye East
In Makindye East, Fred Nyeko was endorsed as the 2021 MP flag bearer for the National Unity Platform beating his only counterpart Michael Mabike.
Mabike in return accused the NUP Vetting Committee for being biased and corrupt. He also accused the party Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya, for “driving the party at his own pace.”
NUP Elections Committee, however, responded with the correct marks he got as opposed to the 95% score he claims to have secured.

Micheal Mabike accuses Rubongoya for being biased and leading the party astray.

Mabike has since declared his intentions of running as an independent on the same seat.
- Makindye West
Allan Ssewanyana who defected from DP to NUP in August, won the party ticket to contest on the same position again.
Ssewanyana was among the 15 candidates who were reevaluated and given tickets to lead their party to victory.
He will face NRM’s Achilles Lubega in the 2021 general polls.
In the mayoral race which is being held by former DP’s and current FDC’s Erias Lukwago, NUP fronted Nabila Naggayi, NRM fronted musician Daniel Kazibwe alias Raga Dee while Joseph Mayanja alias Dr. Jose Chameleon who was denied the NUP ticket will come as an independent.

That’s the leader and opposition we see in Bobi Wine??? Actually Bobi Wine is becoming Mr Social Media. SAD!!
How years go by?

BOBI WINE HAS DEVIATED FROM THE COURSE OF THE STRUGGLE – CHAMELEON

We who joined the Struggle early are the reasons as to why we have many voices calling for change today.I don’t expect to hear any crap of people blaming the other for fighting for change.

Moses Kasibante alias class monitor, the incumbent MP of Rubaga North who was defeated by Kawalya, Micheal Mabike who was defeated by Nyeko in Makindye East and Keneth Kakande who was weeded out by the party spokesperson for the Nakawa West Parliamentary seat have since declared their intentions of running as independent candidates.
